Thanks to everyone who came out to the Crawfish Mambo on May 11th, 2019 – the BIOS Technology team was proud to both sponsor the event and be in attendance as well!
Last month the University of New Orleans Alumni Association held their eighth annual Crawfish Mambo, both to raise funds and to celebrate Louisiana’s rich musical and culinary culture. Featuring New Orlean’s largest crawfish cook-off, the event attracted droves of hungry attendees from the local community.
The BIOS Technology team enjoyed attending the event, and we were especially proud to be sponsors this year as well. We believe in the value of supporting our neighbors in the local community and recognizing the unique heritage of food and music in our hometown of New Orleans. The funds raised by this event help to support students at the University of New Orleans, and BIOS Technology is proud to play a role in the effort to enrich the learning experience for Louisiana’s future generations.
Of course, it’s a bonus that we can support our local students while at the same time enjoying great music and delicious crawfish. We and the other attendees got to sample up to 100 different crawfish boils in a single day, all while enjoying the talent of local bands from New Orleans.
If you couldn’t make the event this year, don’t worry – there will be a ninth annual Crawfish Mambo soon enough. Be sure to keep an eye on our blog for the announcement and further details when available.
